I wonder if there are any other disillusioned taxi users out there who are amazed at Brighton Streamline's sudden increase of fares?
I use the service very early in the morning because it feels safer than walking and was shocked recently when the driver told me to expect a higher fare.
The tariff has been increased by about 15 per cent - a bit much, don't you think?
Everyone is talking about the impending recession and Streamline pulls a stunt like this. I know I, for one, won't be using this company again.
Incidentally, I called to check the new fare charges only to be told the people I needed to speak to were busy adjusting the cab meters and wouldn't be available until after 2pm.
An odd way of putting customers first, isn't it?
