When do you plan your weekend's entertainment - at the last minute or well in advance?
I only ask because G Arlidge complains the what's on in our If It's On . . . section on Fridays doesn't go far enough ahead for his/her taste: "The Friday-to-Thursday coverage means you cannot find out what's on that weekend until the Friday.
"Far better to have ten to 14 days covered, which would allow for a little bit of planning."
Do other readers agree or not? Let me know.
Planning or not, no one would have been able to find Sunday's indoor market at Worthing Pavilion after last Friday's what's on moved it to the Assembly Rooms in Stoke Abbot Road, Brighton. Sorry!
Eric Perry wishes to praise the photographer who took the picture of Albion ace Gary Hart used in last Friday's sports pages (he actually thought it was of former Seagulls' boss Brian Horton but I suspect he was misled by the caption).
"Credit where it's due, surely," he says, "The picture was so incredibly sharp it leapt off the page, yet no credit for the photographer.
The Argus may buy photographs but it can't buy the genius of a photographer. Who was he/she - may we please be told?" You may - it was staff photographer Liz Finlayson.
John Douglass was disappointed at last Friday's page three story about karate champion Adam Davidson.
John's grandson, Jay Rolf, and another boy, Matt Pitts, were also pictured with the story but there was no mention of them.
Sorry, Mr Douglass, but I hope you noticed a full report of their successes in Youth In Action, in Wednesday's sports pages.
A female "Portslade resident" thought it was "an insult" that last Wednesday's report about boy ballet dancer Kit Faulkner Reeves said "it would be hard to imagine him in a tutu".
She says: "As a male dancer, of course it would. Apologise to him and send him my best wishes for the future." Both done, madam.
Another talented young man, Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe, was wrongly referred to as Damien on page two of last Monday's paper. Sorry and thanks to Paul Johnston, of Hove, for pointing out the error.
Our picture story last Thursday about Dave Benson Phillips said he was presenting a radio show for Worthing-based Splash FM.
I have been asked to point out the station is not on air and, in fact, is one of several bidders for the Worthing radio licence.
And sharp-eyed readers will have noticed the picture with last Thursday's review of UB40 at the Brighton Centre showed the guitarist to be right-handed when he is, in fact, left-handed.
The reason was we "flipped" the picture, which we occasionally do for design reasons but clearly shouldn't have this time.
Violet Dunn, of Littlehampton, thanks us for a "well-written" story about her cake-making for the famous last Monday but points out the cake she made for the Queen Mother's 100th birthday didn't actually pass the royal lips (although Her Majesty was aware of the gift) and she has spent £600 - not £6,000 - in eight years' of sending her baking around the world.
Back to the subject of our new-look TV listings and Mrs D E Reeves (a reader for 61 years) asks for them to be in larger print so she can read them without using a magnifying glass.
The problem, of course, is bigger listings would require more space, which we haven't got without chopping. Surely readers require all the information instead?
Finally, I have to correct myself and say that I wrongly referred to the London to Brighton veteran car "race" last week when it should have said "run".
It was spotted and changed for later editions. At least someone reads this column!
