Brighton Bears coach Nick Nurse is on course for a showdown with his former club London Towers in the last eight of the BBL Trophy.
The two sides will meet at Coventry Skydome on Sunday, February 3, with the winners then taking on Chester Jets or Newcastle Eagles in the semis, also at Coventry, on February 23.
The draw means Bears have the toughest possible route to the final, to be staged at the NEC Arena in Birmingham on Saturday, March 16.
It also further vindicates Nurse's decision to bring forward the Championship trip to Towers from the night before the quarter-finals.
Bears lost that re-arranged match 94-86 earlier this month, their second defeat of the season at Nurse's old club. They clash again at the Triangle a week on Saturday.
A running order for Trophy quarter-finals day has yet to be announced. The other ties are Sheffield v Leopards and Milton Keynes v Derby or Thames Valley.
Bears' Championship tussle at Newcastle on Friday will be shown by ITV Sport on Saturday. The club are still waiting for viewing figures from Sunday's win over Thames Valley Tigers.
