It is reassuring to know when Herr Blair has succeeded in reforming the House of Lords we will no longer be troubled by the archaic meddlers in this place who strive to keep our basic rights untouched.

Those appointed under this great man's leadership will be able to ensure the President will have complete liberty to pass any legislation that takes his (or Blunkett's dog's) fancy and totally ignore those unphotogenic and politically incorrect ones who keep bleating on about "innocent until proven guilty", "sovereignty" and other such outdated rubbish.

I am proud to exist in the same world as this noble leader.
