On Saturday, December 22, some 150 plus senior citizens were entertained at the Valley Club.
We were guests of the young members of the Whitehawk Crew Club. From the moment our mini bus transport arrived, we were welcomed and supplied with as much tea or coffee as we wanted, while enjoying an excellent entertainer and having a good old sing-song.
Then followed a tasty buffet meal, all our needs being taken care of by the young people.
After a game of bingo, came the grand raffle with a generous prize for all.
Special thanks to Richard our waiter, his joy was unconstrained whenever one of his charges won the raffle.
Many thanks to Lorraine and Darren and all the helpers and, of course, our young hosts for what was a truly enjoyable afternoon.
