Travellers left part of the Brighton station car park full of rubbish after they had camped there.
It is the latest in a long series of camps in the Brighton area which have annoyed neighbours and caused many problems.
Travellers who choose sites well out of built-up areas and who clear up after them will be accepted by most people.
But a new breed of traveller in Brighton seems intent on causing trouble and being anti-social.
The city council and other landowners will have to take a tougher line with troublemakers.
At the same time it should consider finding another official site to complement the grossly overcrowded one at Horsdean so genuine travellers can stay temporarily in reasonable conditions.
