Craig Abell is looking for a woman he met in a night club to make her the love of his life.
The pine-stripper saw the girl of his dreams on the dance floor of a Brighton night club on New Year's Eve.
Craig was hooked as soon as Laura, a college student from Horsham, came over and asked him to dance.
They spent the whole evening chatting and dancing and saw the New Year in with a passionate snog on the dance floor.
Craig, 21, popped to the loo just before The Beach club shut at 2.30am and arranged to meet Laura outside.
When he returned, he linked up with the friend he had come to the club with and looked for Laura and her friends.
Craig, of Sherridan Terrace, Hove, said: "There was no sign of her in the club or outside. As it was very cold, my mate wanted to get a cab home.
"I made sure he got one okay and then went back to the club and had a look along the seafront for Laura but I couldn't find her.
"It was very cold so she and her friends probably did not hang around for very long."
Craig was so determined to find Laura that he decided to ring every college in Horsham in a bid to track her down.
When he realised that there would be nobody there until next week, he decided to put an advert in the personal column of The Argus asking her to get in touch.
He said: "I have just come out of a seven-year relationship and was determined not to go straight back into another one.
"But Laura and I got on well and, as far as I am concerned, it was love at first sight. I really want to see her again.
"During the evening I asked her a couple of times if she wanted to see me again or if she wanted to leave it there and she said she wanted to be with me.
"If she or any of her friends read this, I want to see her again and would like her to get in touch so we can go out for a meal or a drink.
"I have never done anything like this before but I am determined to find her."
Craig said Laura had short, blonde hair and was wearing a red top with black trousers and her navel had been pierced.
