Here are two more well-known and much-loved Hollywood supporting actors, both British to the core.
On the extreme left of the picture is Roland Young, famous as the maligned banker in the Topper series, who was Oscar-nominated for the first.
On the extreme right is Welsh-born E E Clive, who attained fame as Tenny, manservant to Bulldog Drummond. He was also excellent in portraying a series of sour-faced snobs.
In the centre, of course, are Loretta Young and Franchot Tone. Jessie Ralph is seated.
The film is the 1936 twisting suspense thriller The Unguarded Hour.
