Hove's Conservatives want to raise money by letting out their election headquarters.
The decision to rent out their building in Portland Road comes in the wake of their June General Election defeat.
Party chairman Brian Oxley said the Hove Conservative Association needed to raise funds and no longer needed all of the three-storey detached building.
He said part of the building had been rented to Age Concern before the election.
Mr Oxley said: "When they left it was decided not to re-let and we would use all of the building as our campaign base.
"Now we no longer need all of it and, as we are always looking for ways of making money for association funds, we have decided to rent most of the building."
The agents, Flude Commercial of Bond Street, Brighton, expect the property to make an annual rent of £19,500.
Organising secretary Heather Newberry-Martin said: "The association will still have an office here but we have no need for all of the building."
