It is not always the case that vets are not a caring profession ("No heart", Letters, January 7).
Grove Lodge vets, from my experience, are very quick to put the animal's welfare first.
Of course, it costs more - but credit where it's due. I would be interested to know which vets would not respond to a case where the animal is in such obvious distress.
A practice that won't come out to see an animal is not worth going to and I advise you to take your custom elsewhere.
