I have just spent two separate occasions in the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
The first time, I was rushed in by ambulance. In A&E, it was decided I should be admitted.
Even though I was on a trolley for five hours, I was never left alone for more than 30 minutes. I was taken to Bristol ward, where I spent three days. The nursing staff were lovely.
Three weeks later, I was admitted again, this time on Peel ward, where I spent a further two days.
I have nothing but praise for the way I was treated. Consultants, doctors, nursing and catering staff, all are rushed off their feet but a more dedicated bunch of people you couldn't wish to meet.
Thanks for making my two stays in hospital bearable.
