How good to have a decent-size ice rink for public skating back in Brighton, if only for one week, thanks to the Brighton Centre's Holiday On Ice and Robin Cousins.
Using the rink with our grandson, seeing people of all ages enjoying the facility, has been great.
Brighton has been without a full-size rink for more than 30 years. How much longer will we have to travel to The Spectrum at Guildford, the nearest facility?
How better to commemorate the millennium, Brighton and Hove becoming a city and the Queen's Jubilee than by building a permanent, full-size ice rink?
In just a few years, The Argus could be covering Brighton Tigers' matches again or, perhaps, the training of Olympic figure-skating or ice-dancing hopefuls. Keep Sussex skating.
