Campaigners fighting plans to turn a popular village pub into homes are calling residents to a public meeting.
They have already collected more than 100 names on a petition against the scheme to covert the Sandrock Inn in Ditchling into two homes.
Now they want to hear the views of other villagers and have organised a meeting at the Old Friends Meeting House at the Twitten on Thursday, January 10, from 7pm.
Many residents are upset by the prospect of losing a bastion of village life when the pub closes.
The village has already lost a string of shops and amenities to developers.
Developers WHW Ltd have submitted the plans to Lewes District Council.
