The Disaster Box Trust is £806 better off thanks to all those who kindly gave their change to Brighton and Hove Breakfast Rotary Club collectors in Churchill Square on Saturday, January 5.
One generous contributor gave a staggering £110 single donation.
Disaster Boxes, which are send out worldwide in times of disaster, will supply homes for those whose homes have been destroyed or had to be abandoned by supplying a ten-man tent plus sleeping bags and cooking utensils.
