Brighton are poised to unleash former Irish international Gary Halpin on the London Three South East.

The 11-times capped former Wanderers and London Irish tight head will come off the bench for his Brighton debut in tomorrow's home clash with Dunstonian.

Halpin teaches in Seaford and has been helping out on training nights all season.

Coach Bert Merritt said: "He has kept himself very fit, has been training well and his presence will lift all the other players."

Halpin's arrival in the action will release skipper Mark Jenkins to play in his preferred role of hooker.

Record points scorer Ben Coulson makes his first league appearance of the season for Worthing as the leaders go to Dartfordians.

Coulson has been recovering from a broken leg suffered last summer. Steve Dove and Charlie McCarrick face late fitness tests.
