A recent survey by Sussex business chiefs showed a distinct U-turn in favour of the euro.

This comes as no surprise, even to a complete and utter fool.

Of course they are in favour, because who else would gain from joining the euro other than boards of directors, now commonly known as "fat cats"?

Certainly, the man in the street would not benefit because of all the rounding-up of monies.

People's memories are not as short as some politicians believe after we were all ripped off by decimal currency.

Let us not get caught cold again. Keep the pound.
