In view of all the troubles on the railways, now might be a good time to put in a word of appreciation for the services we received while travelling on Virgin Trains over the Christmas period.

We are both elderly and need help with luggage and so on.

We travelled from Brighton to Manchester on the Friday before Christmas and returned from Bolton to Brighton on the Friday after.

The trains were warm and comfortable and we were assisted at both ends of each journey by railway staff, cheerfully and efficiently.

Their efforts are much appreciated and contributed considerably to our comfort and peace of mind. Thank you very much, Virgin Trains.
