Goal-scoring midfielder Danny Carroll is Crawley's big doubt for tomorrow's home game against Welling.

Carroll limped off during Tuesday's Senior Cup win over Rye with a hamstring injury and will need a fitness test.

Stewart Holmes is fit after an ankle knock and returns at right back in place of Jay Lovett who has returned to Brentford after three months on loan.

A 3-2 win at Welling on Boxing Day was the start of a six match winning run for Billy Smith's side who will protect their ten point lead in the premier division in front of a crowd likely to be in excess of 2,000.

Smith said: "We will be expected to win but that's been the case for every home game since I came here so nothing changes. But it will be another hard game, they are a handful up front."

Dave Harlow, Jimmy Dack, Nigel Brake and new signing Simon Bassey are all in contention if Carroll does not make it.

St Leonards have turned to the internet in their bid to escape relegation.

Saints have signed hitman David Fisher from eastern division rivals Sittingbourne after he e-mailed the club website asking if he could join Boss Glyn White said: "I don't use the internet but the club told me about David's interest and I followed it up."

Phil Henderson has also signed for Saints from Eastbourne Borough to strengthen St Leonards' leaky defence,

Henderson will come face to face with his old team-mates from Priory Lane when Saints take on Borough at The Firs tomorrow.

After picking up just three points from 36, Saints have plummeted down the table and are second from bottom.

Experienced defender Stuart Tuck and Matt Smart should both rejoin the Borough squad. Dean Lightwood is in the reserves after an injury lay-off.

Hastings Town have added West Ham United apprentice Dean Smith to their squad .

The 18-year-old midfielder is likely to be released by the Premiership club in July. He will only turn out on a temporary basis as he is hoping to attract other professional clubs.
