It is all very well for people such as Ian Hart to call objectors to the Albion's ground at Falmer Nimbys in a derogatory fashion (The Argus, January 16) but surely it is understandable that people who have lived in a small village community such as Falmer for years would find the prospect of a massive football ground on their doorstep an unwelcome change?
How many Albion fans would honestly like the ground on their own doorsteps? And how many of their wives or husbands would welcome it? How many who campaign for Falmer are safe in the knowledge that it is never going to be near them, especially the high percentage of Albion fans who live outside the county anyway?
Mr Hart, they are the real Nimbys.
