Chimney sweep Kevin Giddings has been awarded a Royal Warrant for keeping the royal chimneys clean.
Mr Giddings, who lives in Crawley Down, is delighted with the honour, although he hasn't yet caught a glimpse of the Queen.
She will welcome him when he does. For, like everyone else with coal fires, she appreciates a good sweep and is hardly likely to give him the brush off.
