Brighton comic Stephen Grant comperes at the Komedia in Gardner Street. He also has to write topical gags for Radio 1's early breakfast show, which starts at 4am.
It's lucky he can be funny after so little sleep. Most comedians would find his gruelling routine no laughing matter.
