My dustmen are maniacs. I live in Kingston Close, Hove, and the dustmen, who were working for Sita not long ago, throw bags of rubbish from a height of about 40 feet, aiming for the wheely bins.
They sometimes miss and send rubbish, including empty bottles, flying everywhere.
I have found broken glass where they don't clean up properly. Sometimes, there are traces of rubbish blowing about and sliced tomatoes on the wall.
These maniacs are putting us in danger. One morning, I called up at one to warn him of the dangers. He told me he didn't care.
I told him I would take it further and he told me he didn't care and I should report him to Brighton and Hove City Council.
I told him the neighbours here respected the environment and he still told me he didn't care.
As I made my way back indoors to phone a complaint, another dustman joined in and followed me to the main door.
I can't remember his words but he made me laugh because I couldn't believe how crazy he sounded. I got nowhere with Sita. The dustmen repeated all this the following week.
Nearly every week I complained to Sita and every week the dustmen still did it.
I saw two of them wheeling a wheely bin each at the spot ready for the other maniacs to throw the bags down.
The name Sita changed to something else and I hoped new dustmen would behave differently but they are the same and the same dangers occur.
I complained to them again two weeks ago and had a long chat with somebody at the council's refuse department.
The man on the phone told me he would have a word with the dustmen's boss to sort it out.
The following week, I was awoken by a crashing sound and when I looked out of my bedroom window, there were bags of rubbish being thrown off the top of the building again.
It looks as if that long call was a waste of time.
I am most angry and if I get injured I'll sue them.
