Albion's defenders cannot wait to get stuck in against Tranmere, even if it is another wet and windy night at Withdean.
Seagulls fans in the exposed South Stand will put up with another soaking if it means a repeat of the battling display which brought victory over Cardiff on Thursday.
And Simon Morgan insists Albion's back line will have no fears if the forecasters get it right and the heavens open.
The Seagulls defender said: "Those conditions focus the mind as a defender.
"You think 'I fancy it tonight' whereas some of the fancy Dans might not.
"They proved last week in difficult conditions that they could put in a performance and we are looking to do that again.
"They were brilliant against Cardiff. The whole team worked hard and I thought they thoroughly deserved a cleansheet."
Morgan missed the Brentford surrender through injury and was banned when Cardiff visited.
He was waiting to hear today whether he would get the nod ahead of Adam Virgo for Tranmere's visit.
Morgan said: "I thought Virgs did well at Brentford and he was magnificent the other night.
"That's what the gaffer is paid for, to make decisions like that.
"I think the big thing whatever happens is that the 11 who go out there do their best to get another result and build on the Cardiff win."
