Pleased as I was to read Adam Trimingham's excellent double-page spread on the "King of Comics", the late, great Max Miller (The Argus, February 5), I was perturbed to see an important name missing. That name is Gordon Dean.
Not only does Mr Dean regularly contribute some excellent letters and pictures of classic Hollywood to The Argus letters page, he is also one of if not the foremost expert on Max Miller in the country.
He speaks from intimate knowledge because he was a close friend of Mr Miller's for approximately 28 years.
Even the Max Miller Appreciation Society called on Mr Dean's expertise when it was forming. Mr Dean can be contacted on 01273 387708.
