As the postal services are in the news, I would like to relate my own experience.
On January 14, I sent a number of post cards from Hong Kong to friends and relatives in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the US and the UK.
From feedback, I learned most of these arrived within the week. The exceptions were those addressed to Brighton.
For example, one addressed to my daughter arrived on January 30, while my neighbour received hers on February 1.
The other morning, five items of mail arrived at my address.
Three were for me while the other two were for next door and next door-but-one respectively. Is this a record?
