While I completely understand a lot of people have put a lot of work into preserving Sheepcote Valley, I found the article "Bikers urged to make tracks by campaign team" (The Argus, February 4) very negative.
Okay, bikers are not wanted in Sheepcote Valley but can no one (including Councillor Kevin Allen) say where they may be able to use their bikes?
After all, Coun Allen, the bikers (or their parents) are voters as well and perhaps you should be giving thought to an all-round solution to the problem.
Perhaps, as well as campaigning to stop the bikers, some effort could be exerted into finding a suitable site for them.
I don't want to see the birds disturbed in Sheepcote Valley.
Neither do I want to see our youth become disturbed because nobody cares enough to try to understand their needs.
