Jessica Rippin scored a goal and helped Wisborough Green win the Sussex Small Primary Schools Sixes crown at the first attempt.
She was the only female player in the competition and played a star role in the finals at Broadbridge Heath.
Wisborough Green head teacher Yvonne Holmes said: "Jessica always seems to be the only girl at the tournaments we go in for.
"But she is as good as any of the boys.
"Jessica loves her football. She thinks netball is too wussy and is a bit of a tomboy! Unfortunately she might have to give up playing football after this season. Rules say boys and girls cannot play on the same side after primary school and she is going to a secondary school that doesn't play girls football."
Jessica netted in a 4-2 win over neighbours Loxwood when David Pleasants, Byron Napper and Otto-Wakeford were also on target.
Wisborough Green drew 0-0 with Itchingfield meaning they needed to win their final match against Mountfield and Watlington (Hastings) by more than 4-0.
Two goals each from Napper, Pleasants and Collier-Wakeford ensured a 6-0 victory.
Wisbrough Green go through to the South East Region section of the national competition at Ipswich on March 16.
Itchingfield were runners-up, missing out on goal difference after overcoming Loxwood 4-2 and Mountfield and Watlington 5-0. Loxwood beat Mountfield and Watlington 3-0 in the remaining game.
Referee and tournament organiser Alan Ball said: "The event was a great success. There were plenty of goals to keep the crowd happy. I found it quite hard to ref because there were a lot of stoppages with youngsters taking knocks.
"But it was played in the right spirit and everyone enjoyed it. I felt for Mountfield and Watlington after travelling so far and conceding so many goals and not scoring, but even they seemed to have a good time."
