I am so glad I do not have young children now. I did not believe in vaccinations for my family growing up between the Fifties and the Seventies because we followed a naturopathic way of life.
When children are brought up on unprocessed foods with plenty of fruits and vegetables, fresh air and exercise, parents should have a choice to protect their children's health in their own way.
If a child has measles and a parent or family member can stay home to give proper care, a complete recovery may follow. The child's immune system may well be strengthened in the process.
For parents who query the MMR vaccine and wish to compromise, there is a homeopathic form of protection against childhood diseases. A West Country doctor gave this to my grandson in the Eighties.
