Albion boss Peter Taylor has appealed for more of the same from his promotion chasers as they seek their first double of the season.
The next-to-top Seagulls face another big showdown at Withdean tomorrow against sixth-placed Huddersfield.
It follows Monday's fourth home win in succession against leaders Reading.
The previous two victories were against two more promotion contenders, Tranmere and Cardiff, and Taylor wants the trend to continue to end Huddersfield's unbeaten seven-match streak.
"They've had a tremendous run," he said. "I know they lost the other night on aggregate against Blackpool in the LDV, but they still won the game 2-1.
"They are another team in very good form and it will be a massive test for us.
"They will be looking to bounce back and there is no point us having a tremendous performance against Reading and not doing the same against Huddersfield."
Assistant Bob Booker, aided by director of youth Martin Hinshelwood, steered Albion to a 2-1 triumph at Huddersfield in October in the League fixture before Taylor took charge.
"Bob keeps reminding me he has got a 100 per cent record with that result and Swansea away in the LDV," Taylor joked. "It was a tremendous result up there and we need exactly the same again.
"If we can keep our home record going we are going to give ourselves every chance of promotion, so it really is in our hands."
Taylor is likely to make one change, Simon Morgan replacing Adam Virgo in the centre of defence.
Loan signing Junior Lewis has missed a couple of days training due to a slight groin injury, but he is expected to be fit to make his second start on the left side of midfield.
Charlie Oatway's hopes of an immediate return to the squad could be dashed by a back problem sustained in the reserves at Orient on Wednesday.
Huddersfield midfielder Craig Armstrong is on his way to Sheffield Wednesday, so on-loan Chelsea striker Leon Knight is poised to return to the starting line-up, with Danny Schofield reverting to the left flank.
Bristol City face Oldham at Ashton Gate tomorrow in another key clash between sides in the top seven. Third-placed Stoke travel to next-to-bottom Notts County, while Brentford in fourth are at lowly Peterborough.
Reading's lead over Albion is five points after their 0-0 draw at Swindon last night. Albion have two matches in hand.
