Arundel left it late to clinch a place in the final of the Sussex RUR Cup.
Jon Tucker's 90th minute strike was enough to beat Ringmer 1-0 at Wick to secure a final place against either Rye United or Selsey, who meet at Lancing tonight.
There was some dispute whether the winner was an own goal as Tucker's goalbound header was parried into the net by the Ringmer keeper.
But Mulletts boss Mike Rowland said: "I'm giving it to Tucker. His header was going in.
"I am pleased for the lads. It is totally down to them.
"They battled hard. It was a good all round performance but not a tremendous game.
"Ringmer are a solid side but my lads battled away."
Horsham are through to the semi finals of the Sussex Floodlight Cup but they were made to work hard for their 1-0 win at County League East Grinstead.
The quality of football from both sides on a surprisingly good surface made for an entertaining tie which Horsham controlled for long spells.
Jamie Taylor hit the bar early on and the youngster scored the winner three minutes before half time when he headed in a corner from Lee Carney.
Grinstead boss Bob Smith was furious early in the second period when Kris Trevor was tugged back by veteran defender Tommy Warrilow as he raced clear but referee Grant Smith failed to spot the infringement.
The home side defended resolutely but Horsham should have made the game safe late on when Michael Death hit the bar and fellow substitute Marcel Dennis fired against the post.
In division one of the Rich City County League, leaders Burgess Hill were held to a 1-1 draw by reigning champions Sidley.
Russell Eldridge gave Sidley a 20th minute lead with a breakaway goal after Gary Callingham was caught in possession but Ashley Carr levelled just past the hour mark after being set up by Steve Harper.
The Hillians also hit the woodwork three times, including Carr in the first half and Lee Isaac late on.
Hillians boss Gary Croydon, whose side are now nine points clear, said: "The point suits us better than it suits them."
