Having read Adam Trimingham's article about the proposed station site development, I had a long and hard look at the model in the library.
Any scheme for this derelict area would be better than nothing but the architects have produced a plan we should welcome.
It provides much-needed homes where they are needed, an HQ for one of Brighton's language schools and two hotels, which will go a long way to support the economic life of the city.
This is a big plan for a big city and I hope we are all big enough to support it. I just wonder if the station car park is big enough.
The present one is often full and is supposed to have spaces for 1,000 cars but the new one has only 600 spaces.
