Charlotte Browning has won the girls' under-15s' title at the National Cross Country Championships at Ashton Court, Bristol.
The success followed her triumph in the Inter County Championships two weeks ago.
Last year the Chichester runner won both events at under-13 level.
She again had to hold off Nicola Sykes (Leighton Buzzard) her main rivals in the Inter Counties.
Charlotte said: "It was not really until the final 50 metres that I managed to squeeze ahead. Now I want to complete a hat-trick and win the All England Schools Championships."
Danielle Christmas (Crawley) was ninth in 17min.32sec and Catriona Hills (Horsham Blue Star) 106th. Twin Olivia was 206th.
Charlotte Best (Crawley) won the bronze medal at under-17s, two places above her Inter County Championship spot.
Sam Webb was 36th and Kirstie Fenn 93rd but Crawley did not have a fourth runner to complete their team.
Craig Ivemy (Hailsham) was sixth in the boys' under-17s race. Mark Barham (Hastings) was 13th and clubmate Lee Emanuel 30th.
