The article online regarding travellers in Burgess Hill angered me, not least because it said travellers have no access to running water and waste disposal, a statement of the obvious, but implied travellers have no choice.
They choose not to be part of "normal" society, yet they seem to expect "normal" society to give them everything they need.
In return, a few of the non-law-abiding among them produce rubbish, nappies and gas cylinders for 30 people.
Is it not about time someone told them their problem is nothing other than their chosen lifestyle?
Sure, everyday, "normal" life is a struggle but complaining about a situation they decide to remain in is ... well, wrong.
