The new Bishop of Chichester, the Right Reverend John Hind, told members of Brighton and Hove Inter Faith that religion does not cause but is only a component of conflict (The Argus, February 25).
Historical fact and contemporary experience prove otherwise.
But then no holiday time-sharing or double-glazing salesman is more adept at hoodwinking the gullible than are promoters of Christianity and other "true" faiths.
