Relatives of a pensioner who died after an alleged attack paid tribute to a "true gentleman" at his funeral today.
George Osborne, 75, died on February 5. His car hit a telegraph pole after the alleged attack in Hollingbury Place, Hollingdean, Brighton.
There wasn't enough room for all the mourners at Woodvale Crematorium, Brighton, so some had to stand outside and listen to the service as it was relayed over a loudspeaker.
Leading the mourners was George's partner Vera and his three children Sue, Keith and Colin.
Keith described his father as "a true gentleman" who would not be forgotten.
He said: "He was shy and unassuming and was always respectful."
Minister Tony Martlew called on relatives and friends to support the family through the difficult times ahead.
One of the wreaths came from residents of Burstead Close, where George lived.
