I am a mother whose son and friends go to the Level in Brighton regularly. I have to say I find the whole place is in drastic need of ... a lot.
It needs a cafe that serves decent food for the kids. The drug pushers should go elsewhere and stay away.
Too many syringes are found there for it to be a safe place. It should be properly monitored by police to keep it safe.
Preston Park seems to have had vast amounts of money spent on it over the years yet the Level is long overdue for a revamp. For ten years, this park has been getting worse.
I am sure there are other mothers who would like their children to have fun and enjoy themselves in a safe environment.
I thought when Brighton and Hove became a city things would change for the better but seemingly not for the skateboard park.
Isn't it about time Brighton and Hove City Council did something about this eyesore? This problem is nothing new and is not going to go away.
