It was rather disingenuous of Lis Solkhon to cast a slur on Brighton and Hove city councillors regarding how they voted on matters related to Brighton and Hove Albion (February 25).
After all, I am interested in many things; they are called my hobbies. But I assure Lis I don't have an "interest" in any of them. I wish I did.
The popular Press serves us with a variety of items it hopes will arouse our interest and so buy the paper.
Usually it's war, sex, crime and scandal. But a great deal of it, I suggest, is not in our interests and I wish the Press would show a greater measure of social responsibility.
But would we buy the paper?
