Worthing admit they are warming to their task of being Haywards Heath's main rivals for the Sussex Trophy.
But, as he prepared to take his team to Lewes in Sunday's quarter-final, coach Ian Davies insisted: "The league is still our No.1 priority."
Worthing should be good enough for what promises to be a stern test at the Stanley Turner Ground, scene of their final defeats by Heath in the last two seasons.
Davies said: "After beating East Grinstead in the first round we have re-evaluated our aims for the season.
"But we have got Grinstead again in the league next Saturday and that is the biggest game for us."
Worthing have released lock Charlie McGowan to play for Sussex under-20s. They are also missing hooker Del Howard and centre Steve Imrie.
In-form No.8 Paul Cox switches to the second row.
Lewes skipper Dave Hemsley reverts to the front row having been pressed into service as a flanker against Charlton Park last week.
Round-up:
Eastbourne face successive trips to Hove Park, which could make or break their season.
The London Four South East high-flyers go to Hove on Sunday in the Trophy, then return next Saturday for a key league match.
Hove are promising them a tough time, despite doubts over Mike Walton, Nick Wassuna, Nigel Lewis and Phil Ward.
Skipper John Oades said: "We are a tough team to beat in the Park."
Heathfield's home clash with Chichester should be a close run affair. The two teams are currently battling it out for Sussex One title honours.
Uckfield have pulled out of their trip to Haywards Heath citing a lack of front row forwards.
Heath were disappointed with the news but plan to give some of their first team squad a run out in a club match at East Grinstead tomorrow.
Sussex under-20s must win and hope for help elsewhere as they chase a place in the knockout stages of the County Championship. Victory over The Army at Brighton will only be enough if Surrey can upset group leaders Hampshire in the other fixture.
