Steve Rogers' article on the proposed stadium at Falmer (March 1) reminded me that the sites are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
This may well have been the case before the building of the Southern Water offices, the University of Sussex and the University of Brighton but are they today?
It's worth revisiting the field that now includes the entrance to the University of Brighton and considering whether its grand-sounding designation needs reconsidering.
Well-designed buildings don't necessarily harm the landscape, they can enhance it. This could be the case at Village Way North or South.
