In reply to David Lepper's query about the TV series Topper (Letters), Mrs Topper was played by Lee Patrick, who also had a long film career that included The Maltese Falcon.
The Kerbys were played by Anne Jeffreys and Robert Sterling, who both also had long Hollywood careers, as did many of the leads in Fifties' TV series.
With the plethora of TV channels now available, do readers know of any that show re-runs of classic American TV series from this time?
