A book of fun facts and figures about toilets has been given an Award of Excellence.
Southern Water's book, entitled Secrets From The Smallest Room, was compiled when 6,000 customers responded to a survey.
It is being given to schools to sell for their fund-raising campaigns.
The book contains amusing facts and figures about toilets as well as the history of the loo and tips on how to be water efficient in the bathroom.
A third of water used in homes is flushed down the toilet and a dripping tap can waste a bathful of water a week.
Judges for the national Communicators in Business Awards said: "This was a great way to deliver the results of a customer survey.
"It gave a human face to the organisation which probably helped customers take the serious side of the message on board."
Southern Water's community relations manager David Williams said: "We are pleased to get the award as it is recognition of the hard work that went into producing the book.
"The book has a cover price of £1 but we will be giving it free to schools."
The book goes forward as a nominee for Class Winner in the final awards ceremony in May.
