It is not very often I feel compelled to write a letter but after reading the write-up about The Christians' concert at the Brighton Centre (The Argus, March 27), I had to put pen to paper.
It was very unfortunate that not only were The Four Tops and The Temptations on in Brighton but Paul Young had a concert on in Worthing on the same night, both of them appealing to many of The Christians' fans.
I and many people enjoyed the live music, vocals and harmonies, finding it refreshing after so much of the processed music around.
Hearing them sing a cappella was mind-blowing - a feat not many stars of today can do.
