I am writing to congratulate the Rainbow Equalities Group, a small team of
dedicated voluntary workers who have only been active for nearly three years.
This week, they received recognition on an international level in the form of
a Global award, the first time such an award has been given to a voluntary sector group.
Although the team is based in Brighton and Hove, they have also helped
communities as far afield as Birmingham, London and Hastings.
Their work helps break down barriers in society, whether it be religion, colour or deprived areas.
The Rainbow Group works tirelessly to ultimately help communities help themselves and gives them the confidence to improve and enhance their own lives.
Well done all, it is brilliant to see a voluntary group receive such a fine accolade for work above and beyond.
These people put their own lives on hold to help others.
