Ivor Caplin misrepresents and attempts to belittle the efforts of Sussex students and others who have sought to offer support and protection to Palestinian medics, ambulance crews, nurses, journalists and others who are being deliberately targeted by the illegal Israeli military occupiers of Palestine.
Those students went to Ramallah to provide effective solidarity to ordinary Palestinians who have been subject to daily acts of terrorism by the Israeli army.
Such solidarity is something which Mr Caplin's Labour Government has
singularly failed to provide to the Palestinians (or Israeli opposition to the occupation) preferring instead to play a craven and supine role in supporting an utterly redundant and extraordinarily violent US policy to the region.
