What a very proud moment for all Albion fans last Tuesday night to see Bobby Zamora come on for the England Under-21s against Portugal.
I thought, for the time Bobby was given to play, he showed great potential for the future senior England team.
I am sure not only was his first appearance for England a proud moment for Albion fans but also Bobby himself.
It proves there are talented players outside the Premiership.
David Platt is to be applauded for playing Bobby in this game to show future England head coaches what he is capable of.
I am sure Sven Goran Eriksson noticed Bobby's talents.
If there are players in the lower divisions good enough to play for England, they should be given a fair chance to show what they can do for the England team.
