Those in favour of building a stadium at Falmer say the site is merely a muddy field bordered by a road in an already developed area.
Yet the posters showing an artist's impression of the finished item have it surrounded only by pristine downland with no sign of the business park that presumably will pay for the entire project.
If the stadium is built, will whatever monstrosity that follows be justified by the excuse: "What's the problem? It's just a muddy field with a giant stadium right next to it"?
