Thousands of people will salute Brighton and Hove Albion's conquering heroes as they tour the city in an open-top bus tomorrow.
The team is celebrating the double triumph of winning promotion to Division One after clinching the Division Two title.
Up to 20,000 people are expected to flood Brighton and Hove seafront to see the players.
Police have advised motorists not to drive into the city centre and to park well away from the parade.
Players, coaching staff and directors will board their bus in Madeira Drive, Brighton, shortly before 11am.
A second open-top bus will carry club staff and players' wives and girlfriends.
The procession will pass along the seafront, reaching the Palace Pier at 11am and will turn into Grand Avenue, Hove, at about midday.
The club has employed 87 stewards to line the route.
The players will then go to a civic reception at Brighton and Hove City Council's offices at King's House in Grand Avenue.
They will be greeted by mayor Harry Steer and council leader Ken Bodfish and will make a balcony appearance between noon and 1.30pm.
Fans wanting to see them on the balcony are asked to stand on the lawn to the west of the building, at the bottom of Grand Avenue.
A viewing area set aside for disabled people will be available outside King's House. Anyone wishing to use it should contact a steward on arrival.
During the parade there will be rolling road closures and all westbound traffic on the A259 will be diverted.
Grand Avenue will be closed to southbound traffic and one lane of the northbound carriageway will also be closed.
Sussex Police has welcomed the parade and advised families with young children to watch from the seafront for safety reasons.
A spokeswoman said: "Our main concern is there is going to be a lot of traffic so people need to be careful. There will be plenty of stewards around so people can ask for help if they need it."
Mr Bodfish said: "We feel it is right to honour the team in this way. The club is a credit to the city."
