Finally, there is a date for deciding the most hotly-contested planning application in Brighton and Hove.
City councillors have set June 12 as the day when they will consider Albion's bid to build a community stadium at Falmer.
Both fans and opponents of the project will be glad the long months of waiting will soon be over and a firm decision made.
Albion do not have time on their side. Thanks to success on the field, they are a First Division club but with a Third Division temporary ground at Withdean.
If the planners, as we fervently hope, say yes to Falmer, the club can go ahead and build a new stadium which could be ready in 2005.
If Falmer is ruled out, Albion will want to know as soon as possible so they can work out what, if any, options remain.
Tomorrow, the city will go wild saluting its heroes after two successive championships. Even bigger celebrations will be in order when the new ground is ready.
