A woman was seriously injured when she was involved in a road accident with an ambulance and a car.
The ambulance was answering a 999 call when the accident happened at the railway bridge in North Street, Horsham.
Police say the 26-year-old woman, a pedestrian, suffered "serious but not life-threatening" injuries.
The 44-year-old female driver of a Toyota car was slightly hurt and the ambulance crew were treated for shock.
Drivers faced rush-hour delays after the accident at 8.10am on Friday.
Traffic police at Horsham are now looking into the cause of the accident.
