I was wondering if any of the people in favour of Falmer have actually bothered to look at the other venues suggested for this stadium?
It seems since the word Falmer was suggested, everyone has become blinkered and no other site will do. It has got to be Falmer - why?
Maybe if Waterhall (the best site), Newhaven or other suggested sites had been put forward, the council would have agreed them by now and planning and building could be under way - rather than continually butting heads with the residents of Falmer and other locals who enjoy that area of countryside and want to keep it as it is.
At least on the other sites there seem to be no protesters.
Surely that indicates the alternatives to Falmer are a preference for the non-footballing general public.
